Some cases are one-sided coercive control, and survivor safety comes first. Some fights are mutual, and both people need skills. Our Dual-Track approach tells the two apart instead of using one script for everyone.

Our mission: reduce and prevent domestic violence disputes through awareness, accountability, and healing for women, men, boys, and girls. No one is left out, and no gender is blamed.

The problem
It’s bigger, and closer, than most people think.
Domestic violence touches every kind of family. Too much of it is never reported. Too many people never get the words or skills to stop a fight before it turns into harm.

Our goal
Fewer disputes. Less violence. More healing.
We want fewer arguments turning into assaults, fewer 911 calls, and fewer families broken apart. We work on three things together, because any one of them alone isn’t enough.

Awareness
Spot the red flags early: control, jealousy, checking a partner’s phone, fights that keep getting louder. Know where to get help.

Accountability
If you caused harm, own it. That goes for anyone, of any gender. No excuses, no blaming one group. Name it, repair what can be repaired, and learn new skills.

Healing
Survivors get believed and connected to real support, and that includes men and boys. Families get tools, not just paperwork.
What we’re aiming for (goals, not claims)
- Fund the First 100 Seats: put 100 people through a live Equal Path workshop, at about $25 a seat, as soon as giving opens.
- Measure honestly: run a short, anonymous before-and-after check at every workshop and report what actually changed, even when it’s small.
- Reach every setting: launch pilot workshops with at least one school or college group, one reentry or corrections group, and one community group.
- Connect people to help: every session ends with hotline info and a warm referral to local survivor services.
- Publish results: share a simple yearly report on attendance, results, and how money was used.
These are targets we are working toward. We’ll report real numbers from our own records as they come in and won’t round them up.
What makes us different
Honest about harm. Open to everyone.
Male survivors included
Men and boys get hurt too, and they’re rarely believed. We make room for every survivor. That doesn’t take anything away from women and girls. It makes everyone safer.
Live and interactive
No boring lecture. We use live phone polls, choose-your-path scenarios, role-play, and peer co-facilitators, and everyone leaves with a take-home Reset Plan card.
Culture-driven
Music, spoken word, and real conversation reach people that pamphlets never will. We meet people where they already are: on stage, in the crowd, and on their phones.

That’s why Equal Path works through music and culture. Live shows, spoken word, DJs, and creators draw people in. Then a short real-talk moment, a hotline table, and a workshop sign-up turn that attention into action.

Where this started
Built from accountability, not excuses
Equal Path was started by someone who knows domestic conflict from the inside: the night 911 was called, the courtroom, and the prison sentence that followed. He doesn’t tell that story to get sympathy. He tells it because he owes it.
He owns the harm he caused. He also saw how rarely anyone, on any side, got real skills before things turned violent, and how often men and boys who were hurt went unseen. Equal Path is how he’s choosing to pay back that debt: by building the education he wishes had reached his family sooner.
The founder is currently incarcerated and is working toward release. A volunteer board and supporters run the work on the outside. Any message from the founder is shared only in ways facility rules allow.
Own it. Heal it. Break the cycle. It’s not a slogan we borrowed. It’s the direction we chose after the damage was done.

EQUAL PATH Foundation is a new organization. We’re working toward 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status. Gifts are not tax-deductible at this time.
Donations are not open yet. We won’t take money through an unverified button.
What we’ll never do
- Invent statistics, testimonials, or partners
- Name or expose survivors without consent
- Blame any gender for domestic violence
- Discourage anyone from calling for help
